Welcome to Bomb House

Comfortable, Creative and Collaborative.

Producer/mix engineer/songwriter Ricky Rodriguez owns and operates Bomb House Recording in Morganton NC. He has spent most of his adult life as a touring musician with such bands as Four Man Furnace and 7 Miles. But, the studio is where you’ll find him these days, working with national and regional artists alike, from Eleventyseven to country artist Benton Blount, as well as engineering (and mixing) recording sessions of every genre for clients from all over the U.S. Ricky lives in Morganton with his wife, Tyson, and their children Tori and Gabe. They love their Jack Russell terriers, sports, Cuban food, Mountain Burrito and movies.

One Stop Shop

I am excited to announce a partnership that will help take my clients' projects to another level! This past year, I started working with some new friends over at a creative agency by the name of Ovtliers, and we instantly clicked. Not only creatively, but also as friends. So after much discussion, we have worked out a very unique relationship for Bomb House clients. Along with recording, mixing, and mastering services, Bomb House clients will have access to Ovtliers creative services for branding and video production.

How does this help you? Imagine being able to just concentrate on your music while having a creative team that will bring your project full circle with amazing design and video work. It is a complicated process to get a project released. Why not have pros help you out? This gets even better. You, the artist, get an affordable rate for just being a Bomb House client. You will not find a better deal for the quality of work you will get, period.

The vision is to have an entire package audio, design, and video to all be the best quality possible.
